About Me
Finny Keefe is a horn player based in the greater Syracuse, NY and greater Boston, MA areas. She is currently a 3rd year music education major at Ithaca College where she enjoys participating in ensembles such as the wind ensemble, orchestra, jazz lab band, and various chamber ensembles. She enjoys playing all styles and genres of music - everything is a fun new challenge!

She has been playing brass instruments for over ten years and has loved every second of it. Finny started playing the horn when she was 14, and from the first moment she played it, she fell in love completely. From there, Finny continued working hard to earn top spots in multiple Massachusetts MEA honors ensembles throughout high school, and has continued this work ethic throughout college.
In her time at Ithaca College, Finny has served as principal horn of both the orchestra and the wind ensemble, and second horn of the chamber wind-ensemble. In addition to all of her performance responsibilities, Finny also serves as treasurer for Ithaca College's chapter of NAfME. In addition, she has earned many awards in college, such as Pi Kappa Lambda's Certificate of Honor and maintaining a consistent spot on the dean's list.
